Hardest Working Man of 2011:
I said Black Veil Brides is the hardest working band of 2011 but there is one man that exceeds the amount of work they put in, that man is none other than youtube star Bryan O’dell, or known by most of his fans as Bryanstars.
Bryan is an interviewer who is most well known for his interviews with Andy Biersack (of Black Veil Brides), Danny Worsnop (of Asking Alexandrina), and Matt Good (of D.R.U.G.S). Bryan unlike most interviewers manages to stand out due to his dedication and hard work. Most people may not realized how much work Bryan actually puts into one of his interviews, and neither did I until I attended one of his live webcam shows one day. Not only does Bryan have to interview the band but also edit and put a hype around each one of his interview, and considering he has over 400 videos on just his main channel, that could be no easy task even if there were 20 people doing them.
Bryan also has a weekly music news show where he brings important stories that happened that week, and also adds a bit of humor to each one. Bryan has referred to himself before as the rock version of ‘whatthebuck’. This is a very good comparison because they host similar shows, only Bryan covers the alternative, rock, and metal genres of music.
Bryan in my opinion is the hardest working man of 2011 because he has worked so hard to achieve his goal of becoming a youtube partner. All his work ended up paying off earlier this year when he was awarded as the winner of the ‘Youtube Nextup Program’. What this means is Bryan was granted a partnership with youtube and also received a $35,000 grant to help improve the equipment of the show. Bryan has worked so hard to achieve his goal and he’s stay loyal to his fans and viewers even after he won the nextup program. Bryan’s interviews have remained the same kind of humorous informative interviews that fans have come to love. I mean where else can someone learn “If you were a porn star, what would your pron star name be?” from some of their favorite bands? Bryan is just an all around funny great guy who has worked so hard to achieve his goal and also an amazing interviewer. If you have not seen a Bryanstars interview I suggest checking them out.
